Terms

Terms

The same terms that are read out on the call.

These are the terms the work runs on. They are the same ones read out on the scope call, written down so nothing depends on anybody's memory.

The short version

You pay a fixed price once, agreed in writing before the build starts. The build takes 3 business days from the signed scope and the delivered material. On launch day you own the source code, the hosting and the CMS. 14 days of fixes are included. Work outside the written scope is quoted before it starts.

01

The scope

The written scope is the agreement. It lists the pages, what each contains, the price and the date. Anything not in it is not in the price, which is why it is written down before anything is built rather than after.

If you want something that was not discussed, you get a number for it in writing before that work starts, and you are free to decline it and keep the site as scoped.

02

Payment

One payment, once, after the scope is agreed and before the build starts. The price is fixed at the moment the scope is written and does not change afterwards for work inside that scope.

The price is quoted in EUR. Any bank charges on your side are yours.

03

The timeline

3 business days, starting the first working morning after the scope is signed and your material has been delivered. Material means copy you are supplying, photographs, the logo and any account access the build needs.

If material arrives late the date moves by the same amount. Nothing else pauses the build.

04

Ownership and handover

On launch day the following are transferred into your name: the source code and its full git history, the hosting account, the CMS account and its content. Your domain stays with your own registrar throughout and is never held by us.

You own the design as delivered. We keep the right to describe the work and to show the finished site as an example, and nothing confidential is shown without your agreement.

05

Fixes after launch

14 days from launch, included. That covers anything broken, anything that does not match the scope and anything that reads badly.

It does not cover new pages, new features or changes of direction. Those are new work and are quoted as new work.

06

If it stops

Before the build starts you can cancel and be refunded in full. Once the build has started, work already done is not refundable, and you keep whatever has been built at that point along with its source code.

We can also decline a project, on the call or afterwards, if it is not a fit. If that happens after payment, you are refunded in full.

07

What is not promised

No search engine position is promised, by us or by anybody who is being honest. The technical work is guaranteed. Where your site ranks depends on time, on your market and on your competition.

Third party services the site connects to are governed by their own terms, and their availability is not something we control.
